note 4 screen crack

Hi has anyone had this problem
My note 4 started randomly restarting then got very hot after which I noticed a small mark top left corner over the course of the day this mark grew till it ran about a quarter down the screen. Iv not physical damaged the phone it has not been dropped is always kept in a very sturdy case yet it looks like a crack. You cannot feel it on the touch screen and there is no lcd bleed so u can only assume the touch has cracked on the underside somehow. Samsung are saying I must have damaged it and want to charge me witch I'm miffed about as this is the second time this has happened in 1 year to this phone any ideas what could be doing it

Its quite possible that you may have sat on it just right, and the pressure caused the crack, and "maybe" damaged a data/power cable (Yes, even with a case). I doubt that the heat caused the crack....but that's just my opinion.
