I like to keep it as clean as possible but still have quick access to what I use most.

I use Nova Launcher to increase the grid size to 8 rows by 8 columns (which makes the app icons smaller thus can see more of the big beautiful screen). Nova allows for resizing widgets if they are too small. Plus you can disable the padding and margins to make them as big as you want.

Nova Launcher also allows you to remove the app icon & folder names for a much cleaner look.

I use folders in the dock to keep frequently used items there for quick access no matter which of the 3 screens I'm on.

And, I like a big clock (ClockQ widget ).

Like a clean screen. Don't want a bunch of apps cluttering my screen. (one reason I can't ever go back to iphone) using Nova launcher. Access to all of my apps I use daily with infinite scroll at the bottom. Clock widget has all the info I need at the ready.

I have made the move from apple to android and so far loving the constomisation options. I am now using nova with moonshine icons. One thing I have noticed with this change from the stock TW launcher is that my email, text message, whatsapp, facebook etc icons do not have the number of unread notifications on the top tight of each icon. Can anyone explain how I can get this to appear or is this not possible with my setup?

Appreciate any advice for the android newbie!

Is the Euro sport box a RSS feed or part of the wallpaper? If a feed, I like it; too busy and obstructive for me personally, but interesting and I can see why someone would like it. If part of the wallpaper, I'd rather see it unobstructed. Maybe the photo could be cropped. Big tennis fan? Me, too.

Yeah just a eurosport widget really. Basically updates the news whenever you choose. I do it for everyday.

Yeah I had to download the 'tesla unread plugin'
It's paid but only way to get them to show up with Nova... Works well and you can customise the actual look of the little numbers too
