Note 4 still worth it?

Actually went for the Note 4 on Saturday. I've been very impressed by...well....everything! Battery life is great, I actually really like the screen size, so on and so forth. In other words, in my opinion, the Note 4 is worth it! :)

Had my Note 4 since launch day, and very happy, nothing available right now brings such a complete package of high functionality, incredible display, excellent battery life (I get around 7-8hours SOT), unique features (SPen + Multi Window Multitasking), great camera and solid build quality in one.

The fast charging is quite a major one, trust me, when you realise how fast this beast charges yet how slowly it drains its charge after unplugging, you will be shocked, I can't go back to anything without fast charging.

Treat yourself to the Note 4. :)

Especially after the Lollipop update - even more worth it. After disabling some useless Samsung apps I'm getting almost 7 hours of screen on time out of a single charge, I never experienced any kind of lag, everything works fine. I love my Note 4, and it actually gives me the feeling of the 'perfect' smartphone, so I'm going to have it much longer than my previous phones. (The Z3 and the G3 didn't give me that feeling...)

My battery Sucks! Wake up at 7 and by noon I get the dreaded beeping sound... What apps should I disable?

That depends on which Samsung apps you're using. Just go to you app list and decide what you think is useless. S Voice and S Health for example are draining the battery badly.

The one that are using the most battery. Go to your battery settings and see what is using battery. That's crazy unless you are streaming movies the entire time. I get from 6am to 10pm if I really need it with about 4 to 5 hours screen time depending on what I do during the day.

Alright guys, that's the list. There may be some apps you don't know, I am living in Germany and the pre-installed apps vary from country to country.

Okay, something like this is what I'm looking for, especially with screenshots posted for people like me that at times cannot understand written words for Android. Would be great to see similar disabled apps for VzW users here in the USA.

Thanks for posting yours Lukas Wilk!

On my Verizon Note 4, this is all I have turned off:

With the apps turned off as shown in my previous post, here was my battery usage this past Saturday to Sunday. I should note that I am not a heavy user, just a few phone calls, 3 email accounts (2 of those set to push), and some texting. Also, I played a little Euchre as well. I had GPS on high accuracy, and the screen turned on at about 20% brightness almost the entire time, except when I was asleep.

Back to the OPs question:
I have a Note 4
My wife has a S6
My Air Force son the Turbo.
They all love their phones and my son REALLY needs the battery time.
I've used each of their phones and I would still buy another Note 4 tomorrow if something happened to mine. JMPO...

If you are going to carry a phone with a big screen why not carry the Note. Even if you don't use everything it does all the time at least you have the ability if you want it. No other phone does what the Note can do.

If you want a smaller phone then that's a whole different story. Lots of good phones to choose from.
