Note 4 to 8 screen

Loved my note 4 had the note 8 a few days now. And. Threre has been so many times when I touch and it I have to re touch to activate the area I am touching. Any suggestions? It's like all over apps and launchers. It was a brand new sealed phone. Thanks. Has oreo.

What exactly do you mean by "touch" and then "re-touch"? Do you have a screen protector on the phone or a case with a screen protector built in?

Ok. I should have asked earlier. Are you using a launcher other than the stock Samsung Experience? Depending on the launcher it could be software related. I haven't experienced that with Nova or Microsoft Launcher, and I haven't used anything else.

I did some looking and found that a few people have turned off the hard press function and noticed this improved screen sensitivity.

I have a screen protector on mine and sometimes I have sensitivity issues, mostly along the edges though.

I'm not sure I can call it a hardware problem. If it was every time and in the same locations every time, then I would say it was hardware related.

Really? Neither of those would cause this kind of problem.
