Note 4 to Nexus 6 - What Do You Miss?

I originally got the Note 4, then returned it to go with the N6. I realllllllly miss not only the removable battery, but the battery life....stock Note 4 vs stock N6.....Note 4 had better battery life. The S-Pen really didn't make a difference to me since I rarely used it.

With all that in mind, I can tell you one thing I do NOT miss....TOUCHWIZ!

Overall, I love my N6 and I'm happy with my decision to return my Note 4 for it.

I'm battling with that now. I currently have a Note 4 and I love it...but I always loved pure android more on a Nexus device. Love getting updates fast and not having to wait. So tempted to stop by T-Mobile after work today and get one. Ugh lol...this is tough.

Yup. The Note 4 is an absolutely great device. One that is tops on the overall smartphone game. But the Nexus is too. And I've always loved pure Android and fast updates. Pretty sure I made up my mind when I opened up the Nexus box today. Now I just have to get a SIM and return my Note to AT&T.

Hahahahahaha, that was a joke..right?
between government, spooks, corps., script monkeys, drunk stupidity, clueless actions....etc.
What exactly is really locked away safe in this connected world?
I'll answer my own question: NOTHING. say it again, NOTHING.
That sir is reality.

Keep being happy yourself if you must. I divorced many many Google services and apps long ago and couldn't be happier knowing Google doesn't get to turn me into an ad machine.

To whatever extent said privacy actually exists... you're sharing your information with Google to the same extent with either phone in using Google Services. Of course, with the Nexus, you're not herded into additional software that might create other possible avenues of info susceptibility because there's no additional bloatware.

Actually no, I don't, I disabled Google apps, disabled all sync, use gps only and disable location when not in use. I use offline here maps, third party email, Firefox. I refuse submitting any data to Google.

I do believe I can do better, and I do believe Google know far less about me because I'm not using a nexus phone.

Non-sequitur.

If you were to root and do the exact same things you did w/ a nexus, you'd be sharing no more. Their knowing less about you has nothing to do with your not using a nexus phone.
