The update seems to have given me VoLTE. Before the update, I would switch from 4G LTE to 4G when I was making a call. After the update, I stay on 4G LTE during calls.

You might of not had VoLTE set before and now it's default. Since Monday I've been making nothing but VoLTE calls .

Oh, then I missed using VoLTE for a few days lol. I was looking around the phone to see where could I change it, but I couldn't find it lol.

I was getting some WiFi calling errors so there may have been some of tmo's own fixes in there.

It is supposed to include wifi calling fixes.

Hm that's weird. I'd call customer service to see if it is an error they can help with (such as fixing the SIM).. WiFi calling still works for me but I am a postpaid customer.. So that's the only difference.

I did the upgrade and on the reboot saw that Sim error.. it disappeared and I did nothing and everything seems to be working.

Was anyone here having the group sms issue with iphones? Elsewhere, someone said this update fixed it. Maybe someone can test that. I don't have a Note 4 so I'm just here living vicariously.

It's a Tmobile update. You don't get updates from different carriers. The international unlocked Note 3's have gotten updates to improve battery life. You may or may not be getting an update from Sprint that includes that but you will not be getting the update in this thread.

Yes I was a big complainer... update seems to have fixed that... also my battery drain has greatly reduced to the point I look at my percent and can't believe it isn't dropping fast like it was.

It helps with the battery. All day LTE... Good times .

I've pretty much been streaming some video, calling and texting, or if I wasn't doing one of those things I'm streaming HQ Google Music / on the forums .

When I got the error I disabled WiFi calling. Maybe half an hour later I re-enabled it and it seems to work the same as before the update. Not sure what in the update caused the error message after the reboot but if doesn't seem to be a problem now.
