It helps battery but I can't comment on GPS ... I haven't had any issues with my GPS so far.

I checked for software update last night on my t-mobile samsung galaxy note 4 and got a 128mb update and downloaded it. I hope this helps the phone out.
My phone now says=

Base Band Version= N910TUVU1ANK4
Build Number= KTU84P.N910TUVU1ANK4

Well I've never had any issues with my note 4 until after this update. I was viewing a Web page in screen rotation (wide) mode and it froze. I've tried to power down, won't work. Every time I click the power button when the screen goes back off the frozen screen shows back up. I'm gonna remove the battery and see if that helps.

I just got the update from T-Mobile. Same as reported, 128mb. Was glad to see it. It said something about new features? I haven't found anything so far. Anyone else?

Found the lockscreen settings so far. I'm guessing others already have that.
