Note 4 vs Nexus 6

The one deal breaker for me has always been the lack of external storage on nexus phones. I deal with it on my nexus 7, but I wish I had the option to slide in an sd card.

Unfortunately all phones made by Motorola have poor camera's

I always felt the Nexus series was more of a developer's line and "mid-tier" level phones. The components in the past have not been very impressive. Good value for sure but not top of the line specs.

Also battery life and display will also probably be inferior compared to the Note 4 (given Motorola X). I'm also not so sure they can actually come out with a good form factor for the rumored display size. And finally, likely no expandability or removable battery.

Probably good option for those who want a plain Jane Android phone with bigger screen size and cheaper cost. I do like the design (if it's going to be similar to Moto X). I think it has one of the prettier ones amongst the flagship phones out there.

That's the other deal breaker for me. In the age of 4K video recording, you need the space to use this feature or else what good is it? Any high end phone without external storage should start or at least have a 64gb option.

This one is rumored to be closer to flagship costs and not the typical $300-$350 of previous Nexus devices. The rumored specs list a 2k screen at 5.9", over 3,000 mAh battery, 3GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 805, and no less than 32GB of storage. Not much has been said of the camera other than it using the same ring flash as the Moto X 2014, though.

It could all end up being BS though. Hopefully the announcement does come this week so we know for sure. If the rumors are to be believed it should be a beast very much in line with the Note 4.
