I talked to Verizon and they said yes. Not sure why it would be a problem to trade in an old smartphone.

Yes of course it will work if you pre-ordered before 10/16 per the Samsung poster I have, I believe Verizon customers even had an extra day or two to order. Once you get the Note you go to the store and trade in your old phone. This subject has to be the most asked on the forum.

I did this and told Verizon I wanted to trade in a phone. I was told a box would be sent to me to trade in. Hopefully when my Note 4 is shipped.

Yes you can get the $200 rebate from Samsung if you pre order via Verizon. However you can't use your edge phone. You have to use an old phone that has a trade in value of at least $10

This is what I am doing. I preordered in a Verizon store and they told me to come back with my trade in and they would give me a receipt ant gift card for the value. I'll use that receipt and my preorder receipt for the rebate.
