Note 5 doesn't check emails automatically

I have the sync schedule set to every 15 minutes on each email account on the default email app but i can only see new emails if i manually swipe down. Anyone having same issue? Am i missing something?

Mine just started doing that this weekend, as well. It worked perfectly until this weekend. Not sure she changed.

I finally got mine to stop. Now it's once a day.

I haven't figured out Gmail though

I would try to clear cache and app data on the email app
