Note 5 doesn't ship with headphones?

I wonder why Verizon takes the headphones out. Maybe someone might want to use them. I have Verizon, and no headphones in my box either. I do have old ones from my S5 that was also a Verizon phone.

While the tmobile and att ones come with headphones, keep in mind that Verizon is currently (as of this post) $596, tmobile $700, att $740...

Yikes! Good thing I bought my T-Mobile version for $599.99 during Christmas and got a free year of Netflix. :-)

The headphones are trash I'd rather not get them then be let down by the experience. ??????

If the N5 was shipped with the same ones that came with my GS6 then I agree. They are trash. You can find better ones on amazon for around $7.

My monthly bill with T-Mobile is less then Verizon was a few years ago. So even if the phone costs more, I'm paying less each month. And I can "jump" quicker to a new phone, if I want. But I love my Note 5 Spen, so I think I'll stick with Notes.

I am in the opposite situation. My bill if I were to use tmobile would be much higher than what I am paying on Verizon. Although I am certainly in the minority. But each person should assess what is best for them.

With Verizon you can upgrade at any time once you pay off the old device. For example, I have bought a $8 droid mini on dpp in the morning, as soon as it ships, I buyout the dpp, then re-order another $8 droid mini that same daynon dpp. Of course this is online, in stores you can do it faster.

Also keep in mind coverage... Verizon has much better coverage where I need it both at home and at work than tmobile. But this obviously would depend on your specific location.
