Note 5: How many S-pens have YOU been through?

Do you mean Note 5? This post is in regards to the Note 5 Spen design.

Turn on the SPen Alerts:
1. Swipe down from the top of the screen
2. Tap Settings
3. Tap S Pen
4. Make sure that the check box beside S Pen Alerts is checked
5. When you walk a certain distance with your phone without the S Pen, you will be alerted. Tap OK to dismiss the alarm.

She will get an audible alert.

Just lost mine. My phone made a weird sound I had never heard before...and it was the S-Pen notification...don't know how or where I lost it...

On my 2nd one since release day last year, the clicker stuck one day had to get a warranty replacement from Samsung. Still going strong but upgrading again in August to the Note 6/7.

I have owned the Note 3, 4 and now have the 5 and have never broken or lost a SPEN. I constantly use it all the time

I too am still on my original. I honestly cannot say what the issue is. But 3 is alot.

Several weeks ago, I was messing with my phone and trying to put a different custom ROM on it. I was having some trouble with it and didn't realize what I was doing wrong until I took a 24 hr break away from the phone. I was able to figure out what I was doing wrong the next day which was a simple thing that took me two seconds to do.

During that time when I was trying to get the ROM on my phone, I lost my temper and lightly tossed the phone in it's OtterBox case onto the carpeted floor. I left it there till the next day when I started to mess with it again to get it working. It was only then that I realized the S Pen had popped out and broke in half. I ordered this Pen that day and had it overnighted which cost as much as the pen did. Came with an extra set of nibs although I have never had to replace any on any Note I have owned to date.

Anyways, I am loving my Note 5, one of the best phones I have ever owned.

One year in the US. In other countries it can be more.

I've just bought a second s-pen unit last week, an original samsung one.
The click mechanism of the first s-pen had some issues and it doesn't come easily out of the phone.
I have my note5 since May 5th.

I'm on my 3rd S-pen. My phone is 1 year old. The first one broke in half in 2 months. The 2nd one that tab that you click for the air command came off. So let's see what happens now. I do use my S-pen to text. I have fat fingers.

Funny story. I bought a new s-pen because the original fell out of my phone and broke in several pieces. I ordered the replacement on Wednesday, but then had to replace the 2nd pen again. Lol. I have one of those large Nitze cases and my Note 5 is just a tad too tall for the case to completely close using the velcro flap. So, the phone flew out of it and the pen as well. My Third pen is being delivered today as well as a leather case pouch.

I use my spen all the time. I'm still ok my original. Don't understand how everyone loses theirs. If your careful to put it back in when your finished then it should never get lost.

I'm on my 2nd spen. I was putting my first spen back in but drop phone before got it all the way in and the way it hit the coffee table, it broke the spen in half. Couldn't get the tip out of phone so I had someone take the back off for me to get it out. Bought the replacement on ebay for like $20.
