Note 5 - Pin Lock Issues - How do I change it if I don't know the existing pin?

My screen on my Note 5 is extremely sensitive & overtime I put in my pin it puts in an extra number, so in my wisdom I change my pin to include that extra number. However when I went to access my phone later is continually tells me that the pin in incorrect! I was absolutely certain it was correct & don't understand why I can't open it!
Anyway since then I used my samsung account to unlock my lock screen, but when I go into security to remove the pin, it tells me I must enter the pin first in order to change my security!!! GRRRR!! If I could get the pin right I wouldn't need to change it, how do I clear the pin please?? Someone help!!

I did the same when entering a backup for my finger print. I knew the pin it was one I've used before. I tried enough times that a message from Google asked me if I wanted to change my pin. Hell yeah! It asked me my security questions. And let me reset my pin and log on.
