Note 5: Slow motion videos

Lemme just say, I was thrilled to see that Samsung finally did Slo-Mo videos right on the Note 5. (and I guess S6, which I skipped). On all my previous phones with Slo-Mo capability, you couldn't export the video to other services like Instagram in actualy slow motion.

Seeing your thread made my night. :-)

Not sure. Seems better than in S6 though.

Look at the info or properties of the video you recorded. The iPhone is 720p and it looks amazing. I wish 1 Android phone looked as good as their slo mo video do. I can't stand apple and only use Android though

The resolution says 1280x720 - does that help? :)

I also have iPhone 6 and have to say the quality from Note 5 is very similar.

Here is my first attempt at slow motion.

You know I noticed on my s6 edge my slo mo videos are also 1280x720 but the quality isn't that great. I thought it was better on the note 5 but I'm guessing it's the exact same thing :/

P.S. Can you or someone please check if you can manually control the shutter speed and shoot in RAW on the note 5 camera. If so how high and low can you go with the shutter speed? Thx in advance!

Manual shutter 1/24000 to 10 sec and yes RAW is available

I think post production editing on the phone you can go much slower and still use whatever resolution.
