Note 5 Software updates!

I'm getting a software update on AT&T Note 5 right now, my device is connected to the device management server and is downloading it. Anyone else know anything about this?

My coworker is seeing this same update on his AT&T Note 5. He was asking me about it.

Why don't they post install notes? Not even on their site. Bastads

the entire update came through and has been installed. However, my devices not show me anything that gives any clue as to what was included.

My Note 5 is downloading the update as well. AT&T. But, yes, I would love some kind of notes about what's changing :)

I just replied on Another similar thread too. My device got it as well. It is updating the software as we speak.

Just got it a few minutes ago. The only thing it mentioned was "performance upgrade". No idea what was actually changed/upgraded.

Same here just downloaded the update as well. My wife said she received an update on her s6 today as well.

No update on AT&T

Sent from my Galaxy Note 5

Just got my Update today from att. The install was painfully slow when it comes to updating the app. I have no idea what the update does. I can tell any difference. AT&T sucks.

I received the AT&T Note 5 update on Monday the 15th. Unit is still at 5.1.1, so obviously a minor update.

I tested with Quadrant Standard, before 34,500 and after 5,500. A drop of almost 30K (also restarted the phone a couple times to make sure there were no issues). What!!!!!

Please let me know if anyone else has run before & after benchmarks. And has run into this.

Does your unlock/International version do you have the LTE logo for the signal band showing? Also where did you get the N920I Amazon or Expansys? Thanks.
my N920i didnt show LTE logo on t-mobile only 4G but the download speed very fast anyone tell me how to make it LTE

I downloaded and used the Quadrant Standard test just before the update and got 34396. Ran it again after doing the update and got 36423. I'm on Sprint with the Note 5 if that makes any difference.

I have the AT&T N5...no update yet. South Louisiana.

Duh....nevermind, just saw the original date this was posted. got that one, i think. lol

Hello,

I have just noticed you are using 920C version and I was wondering how much does your battery last under heavy, medium, and low usage because i have been seeing people with at&t and tmo version who get extremely good battery life while using it heavily (lasts for a day and a half or something like that with them). On the other hand, mine lasts about 6-7 hours screen on time, 8-9 hours heavy usage, 12-14 hours medium and 18 hours very low usage (like checking calls, messages every 2 hours). and yeah it drains about 10 percent over the course of approximately 10 hours on stand by. I just want to know if you have the same problem and if this version battery life sucks or if i should send it to repair. the update btw has increased my battery life a bit, but had me always optimizing most of my apps.

Do you notice a decrease in performance especially while scrolling in apps after the update?

I am not a fan of the updates! My phone will no longer connect to a media connection for bluetooth. I have tried a JBL speaker and two different sets of bluetooth headphones. My phone will also not automatically connect to WiFi I have saved in my phone.
