Note 5 Verizon Update to Marshmallow

I have a verizon note 5 that doesn't have service on it. I just use it on WiFi. Does anyone know of any way for me to get the update being that it's pushed through the carrier (verizon) and I don't have service, I'm not getting the OTA. I don't know anyone with a verizon activated sim and I already tried putting in an unactivated one but it didn't work. I also tries best buy but they didn't have the update in their computer. Does anyone know of a way for me to get the OTA link file or any other suggestions? Thanks for your time.

Go to sammobile.com download the correct zip for your device and your gonna use the search function in this forum for the program you will need

I see the firmware but is that for the unlocked version only? Is their like diffrent firmware for the Verizon version? Thank You

Oh don't make this too hard... Grab the Verizon update via the software at this link...

Software Update - Software Upgrade Assistant (Samsung) | Verizon Wireless

Plug in your phone and follow the prompts...

Nope... OTA is the only way to go phone direct... PC is the only other way to flash it.
