Note 7 or Note 8

Yes. Sorry didn’t make clear... business account. Carriers still have subsidized contracts for Business accounts. We deploy a lot of phones at the company’s I work for and happen to have a boss that lets me use a line eligible for upgrade to buy a phone for myself at Corp prices. I’m on the phone lot for work purposes so it works out for both.

Is this with AT&T?

I went into the Note 7 with the plan to use that phone for several years (3 +). So i would not have upgraded to the note 8 or even the note 9. I was able to use my note 7 until the end of January of this year and i was very happy with it.

Now with the note 8 (should arrive today YAY), i plan to keep this phone maybe even longer (i feel it is maybe a little more future proof).

I really have no need to upgrade every year, i had always been on a 2 year replacement cycle when i used iPhones (passed my old iPhones down to family members). None of them want to switch to android so i will have no real push to get rid of my note 8 for a long time.

I would not have upgraded to the Note 8. I really loved the Note 7. That being said, the Note 8 is an awesome device. Now that prices for a top end device like the N8 are near $1k (more expensive than many laptops), and there are no subsidies being offered by carriers, I think it's likey I'll hold onto this phone until the Note 10 comes out.

Let's see how the problems are handled, light leakage, etc. Maybe the Note 9.

Yes, the Note 8 hands down beats the Note 7. Note 7 was the worst phone of 2016, Note 8 is one of the top ones released so far for 2017.
