Do you trust that they're safe? I find myself not even trusting the CPSC. Considering alternatives, as much as it pains me.

Because I love this phone so much and really enjoyed the earlier Notes and other Samsung devices I'm willing to take a chance.

I do. That's supposed to be their job. I don't think they would be quick to approve these if they weren't sure Samsung discovered and corrected the issue. I'm sure there are some people out there that won't even consider the Note7 anymore and even some misinformed that won't even trust a Samsung phone in general anymore, even when there's been reports of iPhone's catching fire over the years.

At this point, people with replacement note 7s most likely have the safest phone in the industry now....so i feel even safer

There is virtually no chance they would send these out without making sure they are ok, it would be beyond repair for the Samsung brand if they released these with issues.

I feel safe using it, I felt safe using the first Noe 7, never stopped using it.

All battery operated electronics have the possibility of going up in flames. I think phones are more prone because people put them in their pockets creating more heat.

Don't understand why you don't trust your new phone.
2nd guessing things.
Relax, and enjoy your phone.

I trust that samsung fixed the issue and the new Note 7 are safe to use. They handled this recall pretty well, if you ask me. Don't think too much into it. They never would have put it back out if it wasn't safe for use.

Too much paranoia here. Samsung can not afford there image to be tarnished anymore than what it already has. Sit back and enjoy the phone.

I trust my phone as much as I trust any phone, which is close to 100%. Anything with a battery COULD be bad.

I feel safe. What does worry me are people trying to exploit the phone with fake claims of replacement phones catching on fire. Hopefully that is not the case.

So many products with the batteries and so many using the N7 with no issues. Factor in the media hyped incidents so far being or getting debunked- no worry warranted.

I trust it. Was ready to buy right when everything started going down. It has not deterred me & will be buying this weekend.

Here's why I'm not concerned = corporate greed. In the grand scheme of things, Samsung moved FAST to replace N7's worldwide. They've already taken a huge hit financially & it would be even more disastrous to profits if they screwed up even more.

Samsung may or may not have the consumer in mind, but they absolutely do have their bottom line in mind. And that is a powerful motivator to get this right the second time.

Seeing how catastrophic it would be for Samsung for these 2nd round of devices to be defective....Yes I do trust it.....This is quality control at its best this 2nd time around

I feel just as safe as with any other phone or device. I think Samsung jumped on the problem and have complete confidence that everything is OK now.

The exploded Jeep story... I don't buy it for a second!... BUY ME A NEW JEEP SAMSUNG!.. I believe there will be a lot of fraud cases!
