If they are diamond earrings, then I am 99.9% sure that diamond would scratch the screen.
I am more worried about screen scratches, and a tempered glass screen protector would help in that regard.
I have preordered the Genuine Samsung screen protector. I dont believe its glass, just plastic. In my searches i could not find may glass ones

I am really hoping that a glass protector comes along that works with a case, especially the wireless charging battery pack.

I posted the question asking if it works with a case. Looks like two other users have asked a similar question and the seller has not answered.
With a glass back it is more important that I can use a case, especially after forking over $90 for the wireless charging battery pack.
I swear by temp glass. Had it on my Note 3, and my Note 4. It keeps the screen like new. However, with the curve, and in the Gorilla glass 5, I am wondering if I need it. I have put a couple of the temp glass show here in my cart on Amazon, but going to wait a few days before I complete the order..Also, I would like to have Prime to order from on Amazon, because if it doesn't meet my expectation I get a free return.. Will see.
Well, as there very likely won't be any that actually work, that decision might be easier than you've probably thought

It's going to be difficult finding a glass screen protector that will not only fit the Note 7 but won't affect its touch sensitivity.

The Note 7 isn't as curved as the S7 Edge though, is it? So it might be a little bit easier to make/find a glass screen protector for the N7 that is compatible with a case. I hope at least.
Haven’t ordered mine yet, might hold off till I read some of your thoughts on it, haha. Definitely want to get one though, will let you know what I go for in the end and how it fits.

I am going with a 3d PET protector for now. Have one for my wife's S7E and it works great. Even though I am not a big fan of the plastic ones and prefer class, PET is better than nothing for me.

I think I am going to take the leap and order some glass. I have a case already here at home. I have lined up the case with pictures of the N7 and it does not look like the Ringke case that I purchased or especially the battery pack case touch the sides of the screen at all. The description of the glass for these phones say the protectors cover the full screen and stick on the sides. So, I do not see why the glass would not work with either of my cases so I will take the chance with the glass. The worst that can happen is I have to send the glass back but I hope not.
I think I'm going to order a regular zagg screen protector until the reviews about the glass screen protectors are in.

What are you people doing with your phones that you need this crap on it? I have never ever ever used a screen protector and have never ever ever scratched my screen. And now after saying this just watch I'll scratch my screen.
I'm going to go bare until I see reviews. If VZW sells one in store I will buy it and have them put it on. Sometimes they do a package deal with a kickstand case, protector, and car charger. If they do I will get that. Impossible to find what I really want which is a transparent kickstand case that works in portrait as well as landscape view. The ugly vzw case does if they still make it.
I think I'm going to try also the D&P Samsung Galaxy Note 7 3D Curve Fit Tempered Glass Screen Protector.and hope for the best. Looks pretty nice.
