Note 8.0 vs Tab 3 8.0

Are there any obvious differences in the display and in performance (is the different CPU and less RAM of the Tab noticeable)?

I've had both. The Tab 3 is a poor performer compared to the Note 3. Games load slower and web browsing is noticeably slower on the Tab 3. This part is personal preference buy IMO, the thin bezel on the Tab 3 makes in uncomfortable to hold.

I've also used the new Nexus 7. That is an excellent tablet but I prefer an 8" screen. If you're okay with a 7" screen, this tablet is an excellent choice.

Thanks. Aaaah, so you got your Note3, I'm sure you like it so I won't ask the silly question, "How do you like it?". I auditioned a Nexus 7 last weekend, for the weekend, a lot of bang for the buck but I ended up going with the Sony Xperia Tablet Z.

There are several utube video's comparing the Note 8 to the Tab 3 8.0. The comparisions are favorable , so checkout several opinions, If you already have Note 8.0, not sure why you would interested in a Tab 3 8.0?

I wanted another tablet for exclusively home-use since typically like to keep this Note 8.0 in the office and for on the go. I was considered getting another Note 8, a Tab 3 8.0, and I also tried the aforementioned Nexus 7. I found that the Xperia Tablet Z was more along the lines of what I wanted (something with a good size hi-res screen).
