note 8 and the apple watch

I don't see any reason to get anything but either the Gear S3 or Sport. They look great and work amazing with the Galaxy line they were intended for. People complain about the lack of apps, but I have an Apple Watch and have tried many of the apps. A watch is not a place that I want to interact with apps. It's not a good experience. I want to read and respond to messages, maybe take a phone call in a pinch and then use all of the health features. The Gear S3 or Sport(no phone calls) do an amazing job with all of those things. In fact, I would argue that in many ways they are better than the apple watch. Two words, rotating bezel. Way better than the digital crown on the apple watch. All of that is my 2 cents. Some may disagree, but if you own a Galaxy phone, get the watch that was designed to work with it.

I have the Gear S3 and Note 8. Amy wife has the iPhone X and iWatch . My battery life is twice as good as hers. Whenever we leave. for a walk, she has to spend 30 seconds tapping on her watch to get it to start recording her steps. My S3 automatically detects when I start walking. I love my S3 (I have both a Classic and a Frontier). I think my wife secretly envies my S3.
