I had problems getting a note 7 (some personal), so I will get the 8 phone. I figure my 5 will be paid off by then since I've bought it on launch day, so that will be my backup if needed.
I wouldn't count on any discounts. From providers or Samsung. They gave free gifts with the 7 and going back to the S7 then back again to the 7. So some triple dipped. So maybe a preorder incentive, but that's it.
