But it proves my point. Everyone cares about aesthetics, whether they admit it or not.
Not really. If they made it thicker, the hump could be gone and the bigger battery could be there. Win, win.But it proves my point. Everyone cares about aesthetics, whether they admit it or not.
Charger at work, at home and in the car. That is the definition of a power user lol

Charger at work... TWO chargers at home... charger in car... and spare battery pack. ALL FAST CHARGERS. This is what's needed for any hard power user. And... the Samsung battery will degrade anyway under hard use. This is my experience with Note 5 and for any hard power user with most sealed batteries. Sammy will dumb down their Note 8 battery. Hard users beware.
Camera hump, ugly. Thicker overall phone, not ugly!Even folks here prefer the same. Read the comments in the camera hump thread. We say we're different, but push come to shove, we're not.

No, but new cases are on show so we can only hope the camel has gone and a slightly thicker phone with bigger battery would be fine.Note 8, not official yet!
No, the s-pen takes up space. There's also only like a 6% increase in battery size. So if your average screen on time is 6 hours, we're talking about 20 minutes difference in battery usage.More and more devastated about 3300 mah rumor every day. Does anyone think Blass can be wrong and they will at least give us 3500 mah?
Given his track record, I highly doubt he is wrong.More and more devastated about 3300 mah rumor every day. Does anyone think Blass can be wrong and they will at least give us 3500 mah?
3300 mah rumor is probably correct. I've had no problem with all day battery life out of prior notes, actually battery life has improved a lot without battery capacity going up.
Note 2 3100
Note 3 3200
Note 4 3220
Note 5 3000
So I'm sure 3300 will be fine with all the other enhancements to battery life.
You guys are forgetting that the screen will be bigger than s8+ and the battery smaller. I doubt they will somehow make the device more battery efficient. This is a chickening out move because of Note7. It will be a 1000€ half brick if battery is this bad. Mark my words, people will be peed.
Suicide? Hahaha people will buy it. You know it, we all know it.Samsung have released many new phones since the note 7 most with big batteries , the battery problems are behind them now. I think they are leaking news about a small battery so we are delighted when it comes out and buy the note 8in millions . Further confirmation look at many of the so called flagships that have come out from other companies they often get negative reviews because of the small batteries usually under 3500.
With a massive screen, a pen and aimed at power users it must last a full day... Also it will be compared to the forthcoming iPhone which for sure will have Stella battery life... It would be commercial suicide if it doesn't last all day. I don't believe the new processor will be able to achieve this by itself. But maybe this is wishful thinking....?
