Does anyone have the battery temperature too low issue.
My new note8 doesn't charge at all.

It says charging stopped. battery will be charged once temperature is normal

did you just get it and it was traveling to you through cold, rainy areas? I always try to let my devices come to room temperature before charging. not sure what your pre-charge situation is.

I tried many options. keeping it in blanket. waited for whole night. changed the charger.
also, I tried multiple charging options- with power bank, mobile to mobile charging, usb charging.

nothing works :(

Yes, I travelled from India to Switzerland.

try a new charging cord and charger in a new strip or outlet. also, I found that mine wouldn't even charge if I had it on a substandard electrical strip. this is with oem charger and cord. so switch up the charging location. oem brick and cord on direct current and see if that helps anything.

I had to sign up for this forum, in hope I can help one person. I wish I had the patience to sign in all of them that are asking this. I have a Note 8, same exact issue and I can't believe what fixed it and do not understand why it did. I have tested it multiple times, and I finally solved it...are you ready...It was my case! I removed it, as I had just purchased a new battery and was about to replace the old one, and I thought, let me just try charging again....and immediately it worked. For the next week it actually worked in the case, then it started again. I took the case of and what do you know, it charged. I kept testing it and it is 100% the case (no pun intended). I know this won't solve everyone's problem, but I hope it helps someone...spread the word! GL

Welcome to Android Central, and thanks for the tip! That's very odd behavior. Does your case have any magnets in it?
