Note 8 Charging Cable

First of all, I am absolutely enjoying my Note 8. My wireless charging convertible is on back-order, so I am using the charging cable that came with t he phone. However, I noticed that the cable has a bit of play in and wiggles a bit too much for my liking (I might just have strict standards for my stuff). One of the things I do like about Apple's iPods and phones is that they have great charging ports that stay snug and fit when being charged (not sure if this is MagSafe or not). I expect this to be related specifically to the cable rather than the actual charging port. It also doesn't help that my Otterbox Commuter port covers add a tiny bit of pressure on to the cable end while it's plugged into the charger.

My question: Does anyone know of any cables that have a tight, snug fit?

Mine actually fit very snug. Almost too snug early on. I was actually afraid I was going to break it.

Not the case with me. It slid in fine, but it does have some wiggle and I am concerned about the port covers on the case bending down on the charger.

My assumption is that this wiggle/play is mostly due to the actual charging cable than the charging port, considering how deep the port is.

I've seen cables that have the extra lip at the end for what I believe is a snugger fit:

Belkin and Anker seem to carry good cables. I got the powerline+ 3.0 speed. It's good.
However some people stick with oem.

That was my fear, but the Otterbox commuter has plenty of room.

I don't have a case and I use the original cable. Yes it is very wiggly when plugged in for me. I also use wireless charging most of the time.

Try a different cable if that is loose it could be your charging port.

Yea I got a Caseology cable that fit much more snug. I also got the Wireless Charging Convertible as I wait for my other Wireless Charging Convertible to arrive from Samsung.

A work mate bought me a Belkin fast charger to replace one I loaned him. LOVE it!
