So last night somehow my phone got wet while I was driving and a notification appeared that the charging port was moist, to "let it dry" well it's been like 12 hours since that happened and I put my phone back to charge, and it won't fast charge at all. What can i do?

Try a hair dryer, on low, and keep it away from the port. You'll also save a lot of wear on the port if you go wireless charging.

I did, it just says "cable charging" ??????

Yeah, this is abnormal. I've immersed my S7 Edge, Note 7, and S8+ in water (not the Note 8 yet!), and after a couple hours I'm always able to use the USB port as normal.

Dumb question: have you tried restarting your phone?

Yeah i restarted the phone about 4 times already

Yikes. Tough break. Sorry that happened. Maybe take it to your carrier and see if you can switch it out?

UPDATE: Took it to T-Mobile and got it exchanged, and the whole performance of the phone overall is even better. The charging speeds are much quicker.
