Note 8 decided to reboot itself

I was getting ready to head out on the highway and got my Bixby command in it started doing what it needed to do and then it quit working and rebooted. I was at about 85% so there's no real reason for that. Now Bixby is not working at all but when I get to work I'll probably check a few things and maybe clear the cache. Has this happened to anyone else

Okay now Bixby is working again which is good.

My Note 8 has been rebooting too. No problem with Bixby though. May do a full reset soon.

Only hiccup I have had so far was when I was deleting photos and screen shots, think I chose to many in the one go and phone froze completely

I did the delete cache from the Recovery screen. No issues since. Have had it 2 months problem free until this one time other day.

There is a setting to have your phone reboot automatically did you turn that on?

Sadly not every carrier allows this to be an option on the note8

Nope. Autorestart is turned off. Probably just a glitch. I'm not very worried about it.

I had about two reboot since I received it which was before launch. I think that's because I had not rebooted it for 3 weeks

My Note 8 froze up using the stock email app and rebooted once so far in the 2 months or so I have had it.
I reboot my phone every few days and run maintenance on a daily basis.

This might be a hardware issue, or some driver issue as it does seem to be only Snapdragon units rebooting, which is interesting.

I have an Exynos and haven't experienced any freezing or rebooting.

as above, exynos unlocked international version no problems.hopefully just a software issue that can be sorted

I just stumbled into this discussion and I have an Old still working very well Samsung Note II! The first time it has ever done anything like this was last night! It had over 50% charge, screen turned off and it was just around 8 30 pm AEST (Eastern standard time in Au). I was a bit baffled and thought it must have just had an update applied but never has it done a reboot on its own before.. Just thought I would add to the confusion

My Note 8 rebooted itself again today November 15th. I see the last time this happened to me was October 27th. I was just streaming Pandora and it decided to do that out of the blue
