Note 8 destroys the V30 in speed test

These tests are silly. These tests are about the farthest away from real world usage possible for a test. I can't believe they still do these in 2017, but I guess they get views so they keep doing them ..

In normal use (actual day to day normal use), if there is no lag, and the camera opens and shoots quickly, the user will likely be very happy and the rest is pure silliness. YMMV I guess.. :-/

But u have to remember tho we live in a world where ppl don't think about that ppl just see a video or just have one mind set of a phone and don't change it why because I can open your snap chat .4 seconds faster then your phone can that's why lol

If that is worth it to you then nothing wrong with that. I came from the V20 and it was a good phone. DAC is overrated though. It's useless for those of us who use Bluetooth headphones.

I do agree the fingerprint sensor is in a better place, but it's no more accurate.

I dis agree about the dac point I use Bluetooth as well and my axon 7 has a dac and even with that audio sounds much better using that compared to my note 8

If proves the note 8 opens apps faster and has way better multitasking. Storage is faster in the note 8.

Then you don't understand what a DAC is. DAC has zero effect on bluetooth because DAC means Digital to Analog Converter. It converts the digital format of the music file into an analog stream that goes through the 3.5mm jack. If you're listening through Bluetooth, DAC is useless because the phone sends the stream in digital format to the Bluetooth headphones without analog conversion.

Disagreeing with the fact that DAC on the phone is useless for Bluetooth just means you don't have any idea what a DAC is.

The DAC on the receiving end (the headphone) is the one working, not the one on the phone.

With 6 gig of ram I don't see any device being any better all around. Ram is the key to any device in my opinion. The note 8 is the fastest device for me to date.

The OnePlus5 is the only one to beat the Note8. But that thing's got the same processor with higher clock rate plus 8GB RAM.

I understand what a dac is on a phone what I'm saying is when I'm not using it I still have the ability to here the difference with it on and off using Bluetooth headphones compared to I use wired head phones with the dac on the note and wireless they both sound the same of u only benefit from plugging in the dac why do it sound like I still hear the difference with Bluetooth I guess is my question

Because the Axon has Dolby software which turns on with the DAC. Software decoding using that is different hence the sound is also different. The Notes also have this similar function called UHQ. If you turn it on, wired and bluetooth music will sound better. But bluetooth UHQ only works with Samsung Level headphones.

Oh dear! I said it so many times, the 6GB RAM alone in the Note8 makes it far better than the V30!

Lol, weird how the V30 kept games open but it closed the productivity apps, like WTF.


Anyone who has used the Note8 with DeX already knows the Note8 is in a league of its own the V30 should be compared to the S8+ actually, there is nothing that truly rivals the Note8 right now.

If u reference is towards me for one I have a note 8 for two this is one video I have seen in a long time where Samsung wins a speed test ... Real word usage does not identificate this one video ive seen fourms on here where ppl are saying u can't the difference between opening apps in real word by ppl that have both and as far as apple I'm am a Android person but every Android phone I have had mostly Samsung has not came close to the fluidity and smooth ness of a iPhone period.... You dont think it's sad that samsung had to put more ram in there phone for the one year to win a speed test when the other years having the same they got smacked around ? Or we just going to look over that because it's a note lol

Where have you been? Note 8 has been winning almost every single speed test video over the last month. There are tons of them. You obviously have not experienced the Note 8. So until then. please don't comment when you don't know what you are talking about.
