Note 8 dropping lte signal?

Has anyone here using this n8 on verizon notice their reception just drops off and you have to turn on airplane mode and on again?

No, sorry. And the reason I haven't noticed is that I have virtually no signal at my house and hardly ever get LTE. It's usually either 3G or lower. I called Verizon customer service to see if there was anything they could do to boost my signal, so they turned my trouble ticket over to second-tier support. And the essence of the email response I got from them a few hours later was that they are always striving to improve their cell network, but there's nothing they can do for me now except to suggest that I use wi-fi for data and wi-fi calling instead of the cell service I pay for. I should also mention that this was also a problem with my Note 4, so it's nothing new with my Note 8.

Having said all that, I wish you well getting your issue resolved.

Do you have a Verizon branded Note 8 or the Samsung factory unlocked Note 8?

Mine is Verizon branded, bought at my local Best Buy.

yes i have , i am on att tho. im curious does yours have a update alert on it also? mine does and everytime i check for the update it says " system up to date" yet the alert remains.....anyhow yes i have to constantly do this. stupdlid phone companies are too focused on cameras or screen or this or that to pay any attention to the way it handles the network or signal...i mean come on you can have the best phone and if your signal sucks your atill habing a crappy time....i have to airplane mode mine almost 3 times a day so it doesnt fluxuate like it does...for a little bit anyhow....very frusterating
