Note 8 having problems Switching from Wifi to Cellular

My phone seems to be super inefficient at changing from wifi mode to cellular when getting out of Wifi range. I have aggressive call handling/data switch mode and keep mobile data turned on. Does anyone have any better solutions?

I've noticed that issue with my last few phones. Maybe a Wifi search feature is turned on so it keeps trying to search for wifi connections before going to data. I've been just switching off wifi so it goes to data quicker

I've noticed it on my last 2 phones too. It seems that, if it can "see" any WiFi that's in it's memory, it doesn't switch over to mobile data. It thinks that, because it's connected, that's OK, even if that WiFi is too weak to use.

If anyone has a solution I'd like to know too.
