Note 8 Help with Receiving iPhone Text

Is there a reason I cannot receive texts from my best friends iPhone? iMessage is off on all iOS devices, and I am receiving texts from all other iPhones, except one. He can get my texts, but I don't receive any of his.

Any help is appreciated.

Have your friend delete the imessage thread that he is sending you messages from and start a new one. Chances are his iPhone is still trying to send to your imessage address and not your phone number.
