Note 8 kills s8 plus in speed test.

My Note 8 is insanely fast. I'm not exactly sure if it is the chipset or the 6 gigs of RAM. It is probably the 6 gigs of RAM. There absolutely no lag what-so-ever.

I have the Note 8 and the S8+. Hands down the Note 8 is faster, and better in many respects

I am really shocked how much slower the s8 plus was compared to the note 8.

Maybe the 2 Samsung devices were running different chipsets? Snapdragon 835 vs Exynos 8895. The two devices should technically run at the same speed. The extra ram should only help with having more apps open. :)

Only thing I note in that video is up until they had to do that 4K video, the s8 was ahead of the note 8 opening all the apps. Note 8 didn't pass it until it did the 4K video. Bit surprised by that

How does the Note 8 compare to the s8+ in terms of keeping apps in memory? My biggest gripe with the s8+ has been apps refreshing too often.

According to that video, the note 8 held all the apps in the memory where the s8 did not

It's the extra 2GB of ram it's makes an whole lot of difference, funny thing is iPhone are stuck on 2GB even. Their new iPhone only has 2GB and yet am iPhone use will say its faster then an android phone with 6GB, but the time iPhone starts using 3GB of ram Android will be at 8GB

You may want to double check the information you currently have regarding the amount of ram the iPhone 7 have.....just saying.
