For you guys that want bigger phones, like a 7 inch tablet, you can have that now... Get yourself a 7 inch tablet install Verizon messages and turn the phone feature on, and then look like idiots using it, just like people using their iPads as cameras, they look like idiots.

The S series is going to be 5.8 and 6.2 ....So of course the next Note is going to be bigger lol. Personally, I love that size.

I don't mind a big phone but it comes with a big price. $950 is going to be way out of my budget considering we just got a new house and I just got a S7E last month. I may wait and see what the Note 8 has to offer if not I'll wait until next year and see what the S9 has or see if the S8 drops in price.

I do understand that the S8 and S8+ is on the horizons. But at what point this spring/summer can we start to expect the first rumors or leaks to start emerging? I'm going to pass up on the S8 series because I just picked up the S7 edge last month. I should be eligible for my JOD by Sept. if I chose to get the Note 8 assiming its not a $1,000 phone.

Have you used other JODS or is the 7 edge your first? You should be able to jump anytime this year. I was able to get my 7edge on JOD and my account shows a jump is available

I heard some rumors about the foldable tech and possible foldable version but that was a little while ago. Will have to see what they actually come up with.

I highly doubt the phone is foldable, a lot of leaks had that line down the middle just for measurement purposes

6.4would be nice if they keep 8+ length but make it wider.

Holy crap. 6.4" screen?? That's a tablet not a phone. If so I'll keep my S7E.

With current minimal bezel trend, you should look at the actual phone size and not the screen size anymore.

S8+ screen size sounds ridiculous for a phone but it is actually easier to hold than iPhone 7+

The S8Plus feels great to hold and to me it looks great too, not distorted. When I get mine Ill have a protective case on it-will have a few I'm sure lol.

Yeah I read that too and the fact that foldable devices are a couple of years off...they said 2019.

They wouldn't. So appart from posiible breaks from folding, I see breaks from falls. Not for me.

The truly inventive kind. You know that if foldable screens take off case makers will have to make durable cases. I bet there are dream case mockups somewhere in this forum.

Unless they can make it until the screen is one smooth nice screen after unfold, rather than like a Gameboy which you basically has two separate screens or an ugly fold in the middle. It won't appeal to me too

C'mon folks... I'm getting the "Hebbie-Jebbies" just talking about folding phones being associated with the Note line! Could we change the subject here please? Oh, that would be an awful way to ruin the Note 8! (In my humble opinion anyway)
