NOTE 8 - ONE UI [ U5DRL7] is out

So managed to do the update this morning. Flashed CRK1 and got stuck in a boot loop. Good thing I put DRL7 on the sdcard before doing that.

Installed DRL7 and my heart stopped...though I would have to reinstall all my apps, start from scratch, etc. Luckily, that wasn't the case! So kept going and yay...other than putting icons back in my bar and edge, things are working well.

Yeah I'm not going to take the chance of doing this... It would be stupid since the Note 8 is suppose to get the upgrade some time this month. The carriers are already pushing it out for S9 and S9+ from what Sammobile has reported....

I just updated my wife's s9+ to Pie, and so far I love the looks. Can't wait for my note 8 to get it.

According to my experience with my notes and tmo, 1 year after you buy the note 9.......maybe....if they feel like it.

Went back to Oreo. Having google pay not work was the main deal breaker, but there were other quirks here and there with the camera.

I'll be (im)patient and wait for it to come through normal means. That way, everything works 100%.

Carriers are already pushing out the upgrade for the S9 S9+ and Note 9. The upgrade for the Note 8 is suppose to come out either this month or March.... Not a year.....
