Note 8 - When I try to play media files

I notice that my phone has a tendency to not switch the volume settings when I go to play media like videos (youtube or from sd card). It will play via (in call setting) verses Media volume setting which will play sound from the main speaker verse the ear set speaker (top of the phone like when you are talking on the phone.) I tried using a app called rocker locker which is suppose to lock the rocker (volume switches) to control media volume all the time. I even have on the volume settings where it says "use volume keys for media" on. Not sure if this is a bug or if my phone is defective. Very annoying!!!

You should be able to change where the volume rocker can always change the volume for media unless you are directly on a call. You go to settings > sounds and vibration > use volume keys for media. This will then make the volume rocker control the media volume outright.

I have done that. For some reason it seems that it gets stuck in that in call volume mode. The only way I can go back to media volume is to restart the Phone.
