The video has to support the full screen. This video allows full screen. Watch at 4k 60fps. Really nice. Don't watch it through Tapatalk if that's what you use. Watch it on the YouTube app.

No I get it to fit full screen if I use the proper YouTube but it's the YouTube app that won't play in full screen the toggle that pops up is missing on mine

I don't why that would be missing.. Youtube app was last updated 10/17....my display resolution is on the max setting.. What is yours on?

No I don't no why it is missing its on max to Samsung don't no why eather but I don't get I've had two phones one gold one black and they both have that toggle missing just seems strange 2 phones from different batches

Make sure you are on the latest firmware/OS on the phone. Go to Settings, then Software Update, then Download Updates Manually, this will cause your device to immediately check for an update. Maybe that will fix it?

Well exchanged my phone today and the new phone doesn't have the toggle to crop to fit full screen getting annoyed now

I found that inside the actual video, on the right was a box that let me make the picture full screen. Funny thing is, I didn't even pay attention to it till I read this thread.

Not true. I've come across a lot of videos that didn't support the crop button. Button will never even display. Next video I watch, no problem crop button is there.

I think they changed it to pinch to zoom now, so try doing that to see if it'll go completely full screen. If that's not working, force stop YouTube, then clear the cache. That worked for me. Hope this helps.

Did you try pinching outward from the center of the screen to crop to fit?
