Yes and you can uninstall it.

Not on my Moto z play Droid edition. Disable only. My G3 still had the Verizon store where we could still pay for screensavers and ringtones

A friend's grandmother was still using and paying for AOL online until a few years ago. He had to sit her down and make her use chrome and he cancelled the membership for her. Took her awhile to understand that AOL wasn't necessary.
