Battery is failing. Having to charge three times a day now. This is how they get you. Phone works perfect besides battery no longer holding charge.

I've never owned an iphone and now the S21 ultra is calling my name. I guess i'll jump on that trade in deal they are offering. But i'd be just fine if i could keep this Note 9 and swap out the battery. :(

I am with you! It seems like the battery is always the first thing to go on my phones, too! At least you have a plan for your next upgrade!

You could look up the closest UBREAKIFIX and see what a battery replacement runs. I cracked my screen last March and took it to them. Screen was about $240 or so and they replace the battery while they had it on the bench.

I am looking at a battery replacement on my S10+ for £99. My phone is perfect apart from battery life and not worth upgrading right now. It is only 1 year old. It started degrading after I began to wirelessly charge it in between charges. So I now only cable charge.

I went to Ubreakitifixit and got a Samsung Battery installed in February, VZ compted me under extended warranty. Would have cost $70.00 approx. Still running the Note 9, it has and does everything I want it to do VERY WELL. Love the 3.5mm Jack, use it a lot. Security updates will continue through the year, then will make next decision. It's funny, most folks here on forum sang the high praises of the Note 9, then jumped to the 10. For me, the 9 is the best all around phone I have ever used.

No question the Note was one of the best phones , but my screen broke and was 280.00 to fix so I just went to next Note .

Wireless charging is a real battery killer. It's not advisable to use this regularly.
