Not sure if this is the best place for the thread, but it's more to do with Verizon policy than the N9 itself.
So right now we have 3 lines, mine, my wife, and kids/emergency. We are looking at getting my wife the N9 and I saw the BOGO offer. If I'm reading it right, the free phone must be on a new line, which we have no need for. So does that mean we're SOL to take advantage of that offer? If it makes a difference, all three lines are currently under DPP's, but can pay them all off with relative ease. I was kind of wondering if I could pay off the spare line, cancel service on it, then start a new line of service with the BOGO offer to keep it at 3 lines. Because it's a cheap phone on there already (because, you know, kids), I'd then put that one on the new line and do...something... With the BOGO Note. Not sure what yet.
