I’ll be going for the Unicorn Bettle rugged case with the built in screen protector

It did great on my Note 8 and S8+; might even look into decent tempered glass screen protectors, once they’ve been out for a few months, to see if they’ll work on the screen once the built in protector has been removed from the Beetle case...

Seidio has a great holster case (Surface model), they are a bit expensive (belt clip is an extra $10 when you purchase the case), but it's all I've ever used and they work great. HOWEVER, they are notorious for not having them ready in time for 1st day availability. I called and they said they should be ready 'this month'. I should receive my phone on the 24th and hope that it will be available by then.

Yea I saw that. It was in Vietnam though. However the box was in all English so who knows. Granted it won't provide much protection but better than nothing until you can get a more protective case. I ordered the Samsung rugged case with my Note 9. I will get the generic Otterbox Defender when it's available since I get them wholesale when I buy them. I will probably buy a couple more cases too.

I ordered both the official Samsung silicon case and the Samsung rugged case from Amazon. They say temporarily out of stock but I believe they will ship ship before the phone is out.

I ordered the rugged case with my samsung.com pre order. Will wireless charging work with it? I plan on getting more cases eventually. The rugged case doesn't look that rugged but it will do for a bit.

Wireless charging should work fine, I remember using it with either Note 8 or S9. Don't recall with which one I used

I'm disappointed that companies like Spigen and Otterbox didn't come out with an more extended line of more heavy duty cases like they did with the s9. Spigen had a couple super tough ones and Otterbox has the Pursuit.

Charger says "Seneo", so I assume that's the brand. I really liked the case, but found myself going back to Speck. They're so grippy, it takes getting used to, but with my butterfingers, it works out good. The price on them is high, 45 bones, but I found a coupon code and was able to pick one up for the 9 for 20% off with free shipping. I do like a couple of others have mentioned, and get the screen protectors that cover the back also, then put the case on. Not sure it actually accomplishes anything, but it's cheap, so I do it.

I really want the Spigen slim fit like I've had with my other phones. Is there any Otterbox like cases that's not expensive? I know I can look on Amazon but I thought I'd ask here first.

And it will probably work fine. I think that my issues were the Samsung chargers. The case was great. If memory serves, Samsung said that the Rugged for the Note 8 would not work with wireless. If they say that the one for the Note 9 does work with wireless, then I reckon it probably does.
