Note 9 over mate 20 pro for battery and speed

I got a cracking deal on the 512gb note 9 but am still wondering how it compares to the mate 20 pro in terms of battery life and speed.

Has anyone gone from one to the other and compared?

Does the 512gb version work faster with apps than the mate 20 pro?

In all tests online the mate seemed to trounce the note 9 in app opening speeds and battery. Is the 512gb faster or can it just handle more apps simultaneously?

Does the note 9 battery lasts all day? I listen to music, watch you tube, read Twitter etc and my s8+ is woeful at handling the battery.

I have the note 9 and my 2 friends have mate 20 pros. Since you mentioned battery life and speed, I would have the say the mate 20 pro is definitely better in those two aspects.

battery life on the mate 20 pro is insane, and the 7nm chip on the mate makes intensive gaming look so easy.

So is every other phone, have the Mate 20 Pro perfect so far and definitely the better phone in pretty much everything, esp in battery life and speed.

A flagship phone shouldn't be "full of issues". LG flagship phones were notorious a few years ago for bootlooping. The Galaxy Note 7 was Samsung's worst nightmare to date. Defects are rarely of such magnitude and don't involve all phones. The most common complaint I've heard of concerning the Note 9 has been with the camera's performance

Have note 9 very very happy with it...but also buying Mate 20 pro aswell as 2nd phone...waiting for price drop hopefully good deals during xmas and new year

Thinking of trading in my note 9 for the mate 20 pro for better gaming experience. Mine is an exynos version and it sometimes can't handle intensive gaming well.
