Definitely painful to watch, but he is hilarious!

I actually understand it in this regard, this is just Zack being consistent. If he wasn't doing the same things for each device other people would complain that he was playing favorites or not "fully testing" each device.
Maybe so but I still say it's pointless and I certainly don't need to see a phone being trashed to know it can be trashed.
Don’t watch those videos then.
I do watch ‘em as they do provide some insight into the build and durability of the phones, compared across a pretty even board to other available phones.
Not really, some have had logos that come off easily, some have had plastic camera lenses, some have had plastic (painted) buttons, some have had sapphire parts that were questionable, some have had buttons that come off relatively easily ().
So, IMO, my original statements still apply. If you don’t like ‘em don’t watch ‘em. That’s part of the freedom of choice we have.
Lots of people, obviously, watch them and find value in them.
Why not just disable it?I'd love to remove the bixby button but I believe that would create an ingress point for water and dust.
I'm not that too much interested in him scratching up the phones housing and display and burning the screen.
The bend test was conclusive.
However the follow on videos where he dismantles the phone is pretty interesting to see what's inside and how it's built.
Wow. How much money can I make destroying a $1000 phone on YouTube?

Exactly. totally agree.I'll never understand some of these tests. It's glass, it will scratch, it will break.....and the flame test for all those times you accidentally light your phone on fire.
The bixby button is a great feature if you would use bxactions. Mine is programmed to jump to the phone dialer . Just push it as I pick up the phone. Or make it launch some other app. Maybe if they market it as the ‘custom button’ and show what you can do with it, more people would want a phone with an assignable side button.
Yes. Full description in the playstore. Also allows programming the volume keys for various functions. Can you assign different actions by pressing it differently?
The easily removable buttons is rather annoying.
