Currently I have the LG V30. I'm ready soon to make the switch to a new device, preferably samsung. I was really impressed recently with the huge, beautiful screen of the Note 9. I would definitely love that, as well as the huge battery and large amount of storage. Currently on sale right now at T-mobile for 150 down. Is the Note 9 really worth it though? It's 900 dollars currently. Or would it just be better to get the S9 Plus? I don't really care about the stylus but the larger screen. I've had nothing but issues with LG devices and want to switch something I can have at least a year before contemplating needing a new phone. What do you think? Suggestions? Ideas?

I have both devices Note 9/S9+and both are excellent
but I prefer the note 9 for battery ,screen and boxy design.. also the pen even if you dont have use for it , it's ready for instance you dont have a pen or paper to write something down just take out the spen and your set otherwise leave it in tucked away if dont need at all. but it can act like a selfie stick with the bluetooth pen built in or pressed to scroll through webpage. and other stuff.

The S9+ is just $60 cheaper ($840) at T-Mobile....I'd go with Note 9. Love mine!

I would say choose between Note 9 and Mate 20 pro... Both are excellent devices... I own both and use them as daily drivers

Note hands down. Less curved edge, better screen or easier reading. I use the stylus mostly for touch, never as draw or note taking.

Also have S9+ for a smaller lighter device and backup. Crazy yes. Note came with 8.1 while SO comes with 8.0 and 8.1 seems more refined. Both getting Pie already or soon.

And Note seems like it has better memory handling. Same when I had 8 series of each. I do monthly carrier plan and trade in one of my old phone usually.

You could wait and pickup S10+ and try it out and of course Note 10 in August.

after the service I received from Samsung shop I will never buy a phone there again I'm switching to a pixel 3

The Note 9 is a fantastic device. If you don't need the stylus, do yourself a favor and save a few hundred bucks and get the S9+. I wouldn't spend $900 on a Note 9 with the S10 right around the corner for likely similar pricing.

The difference if An and Note us not just stylus it's night and day even if like me you have little nnmeed for a pen. Why people keep bringing up old talking points.

Memory management was often touted. Still true now that S9+ has 6GB?
Coming out half a year later with later version if OS and whatever tweaks. Maybe even higher quality parts?

I have had more phones than I care to admit over the last few years lol. I always come back to Samsung devices, and the Note 9 - well that's one of the best phones I've ever had. Currently have it and thoroughly enjoying this little handheld powerhouse.
