Note 9 won't update??

I did it!!!!! Now the device is running on April 1st patch, should I stretch it to the latest one? Almost everything seems to be working OK so far, except for the fact that now I can't sign up to one of the WiFi networks of my home, it just keeps repeating the password is wrong, I already reset the network settings, turn on plane mode, type in manually the IP address and nothing, I'm about to go try the WPS, if that doesn't work I guess I'll be in trouble haha. Other than that... Thank you again for the help!!!!

So your on April 2019 patch Android 9?

Yes, I am and got the WiFi situation solved, there is still no automatic update. The device is running on baseband N960USQS1CSD1, security patch level from April 1, 2019. Would you advice to go for the latest update?

Yeah definitely , why not be current.

Makes sense haha, but that'd mean having to flash again. Would this link, provided yet again by this amazing guy Ruben be ok?

This link works

I don't know what that MD5 thing means though, also would it wipe the data again?

Thank you so much again man!

If you don't want it to wipe , just use home csc instead of CSC

Odin tryout.gif

Sorry to trouble you again, I'm trying to flash to the latest version, but Odin seems to do nothing, I'm flashing from N960USQS1CSD1 to N960USQU2CSI1 using the file provided by Ruben and I keep getting that screen, where it seems to do nothing to the device, I tried without the USERDATA and nothing, I'm using the HOME CSC because I'd like to keep the device data, should I try the regular CSC or is this a signal from beyond to stop tampering with the device? xD

did you remember to enable developer mode again after flashing the first time and switch on the oem unlock?
I haven't flashed anything on the Note 9 but would imagine it would be needed to flash it

No PM i take it?

Anyway, Samsung is saying that there is no update available for my device... I don't' see how or why. No updates at all, not even security updates?

I have to clear it out , it gets full rather quickly lol

Well hell. Anyway, Samsung is trying to tell me that there hasn't been an update released for the device. I don't know. This is all rather aggravating. I have places telling me it should update, try a vpn, etc. I dont' get why they allow these phones to be sold in the us if they refuse to service them. Honestly only ever buy them because they are "unlocked" and not tied to a carrier... Apparently I am doing it wrong.

How the hell do I find an "Original Carrier" of a device, that never had an original carrier? I dont' get it!
