Hey all, I have an ATT note edge and have noticed that my phone drops calls constantly. I got the phone at launch and had to exchange the first phone for the one I currently have because the original phone's screen was unresponsive. This phone has been great up until about 2 weeks ago. Every phone call I make the call drops and I get a pop up message saying that the phone " does not have a mobile signal." Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Are there any troubleshooting tips that anyone has that may help me with this issue? Thanks!

I assume this happens in an area with good signal, correct? I'd talk to AT&T and see if they think a replacement SIM is warranted. If it keeps happening with a new SIM, then it might be a faulty cell radio.

I'm on ATT so I don't think my edge uses Wifi calling. I did however report the issue to ATT and they sent me a replacement sim. A week later I am still having dropped calls , not as frequent, but still happening several times a day. I will call ATT and let them know of the issue but I am worried that they will try to send me a refurb.

At this point I would ask for a replacement anyway. Even if it's a refurb it would be better than having one that drops calls left and right.

Friend of mine had the same trouble but just at home. She was told it was a tower issue and would stop after her tower was updated. Of course they could not tell her when that would be.

Seems to me that most people who are having issues are on AT&T both on the Edge and the Note 4.

So I called up ATT about my Edge's dropped call issue continuing after activating the new sim card. The rep said that the sim card was not properly activated and sent some sort of signals to my device and had me reset the phone. Since that call about a week ago I had not dropped one single call until today! So whatever the sales rep did helped big time! I can live with a dropped call once in a while!

I have Sprint and this has been every call since I purchased at launch. These drop calls are costing me alot of business. I am missing out on money and Sprint is not doing anything. I want to know who would be willing to go in with me on a class action law suit. I spent $900 cash on this phone so no I am not willing to pay out of pocket for a new one. I am completely frustrated and have contacted my lawyer. Who's with me?

How many threads do you have regarding this issue?

Don't waste your time with a class action law suit, they can take years and plus you have to have documentation and be able to prove that you did in fact have dropped calls that cost you money damages, the only thing your phone record will show is that you talked to a person for an X amount of time talking to god knows who. I'd either get a different phone, take it in to sprint and explain to them the situation and try to swap it for another one or switch carriers. Don't waste time on that BS, this was not a mass produced phone and there won't be enough people to join you for it to stand any ground.

I also have sprint and gwt the same issues. My note 3 can have great service and data but my edge will have hardly any. I took it to them, they kept it for 2 hours only to tell me some towers are being worked on. And that my two ohone were hitting on different tower. Wtf. Im gonna take it back again. They will fix my problem or trade my phone. I'm sick of it
