Truly loving the camera on thr Note 2. It really takes some quality photos. The focus is very sharp and actually very quick. Oh ya, super fast shutter/processing speed.

Hope these don't make you hungry;)

Looks like that cat is wondering when it's going to get some cookies.

Hahahaha that has to be intentionally done and it is quite funny too. Definitely showing that to the wife lol nice one OP.

I completely agree the camera on this phone is fantastic. At the end of the day this isn't just a camera strapped to a cell phone, it's an awesome camera strapped to a mini tablet that has an LTE connection and one of the fastest mobile subsystem components to date, all under one hood. This phones camera is incredibly powerful when you put it into the context of what it is. For my casual usage of photography, this phone definitely suits all my needs and then some.

Took this macro shot in pitch black using only camera flash. Amazing detail.

I find the camera horrible in low light situations = grainy and too dark. My old HTC Amaze was much better. Anyone suggest a workaround?

I definitely agree with the dark non flash shots. Shows a lot of noise.

Snapseed is so cool. I used it on the picture of the cat. Didn't change the eye color. The cat is actually a dirty white color but its eyes are amazingly blue naturally.

Loving the camera too! But frustrated that there's no easy way to adjust contrast and brightness without going to a third party app.
If I try editing a photo it brings me straight to paper artist!! I don't want paper artist!

Any ideas?

I too am loving this camera. I took a pic of the sleeping kitten we're fostering and was quite impressed with the quality.

Nice pics for sure!

But they're low light pictures directly shooting the light source, so looks good. It differs from an object that is reflecting low light. Pics are grainy in "single shot" mode.

Without flash night shots are bad but with flash they are great. Honestly I've yet to take a pic that I didn't feel was light enough or back light enough that came out bad. Plus you can lengthen the exposure to remove some of the grain. This is a basic photography trick and is available on the note. A pitch black shot with the flash comes out clear as day and the shots I've taken aren't even close to over saturated. Try lengthening your exposure if you are taking dusk shots.

I just tested out the video recorder at my daughter's winter chorus concert. The lights were very dim with spotlights on stage and the quality, both audio and video, were excellent. I was very pleased. Then when we got home, I stuck my phone in the Smart Dock so my daughter could watch her show on the TV. It's nice to have a phone that has so many cool features.
