Note Not Streaming Youtube/Netflix in HD

I just recently purchased my 2014 note and realized that when I stream youtube or netflix over WiFi I am viewing the videos in SD. I cannot find a setting to change this and I don't see why this is since my Nexus 5 phone streams HD just fine. Any one else experience this issue?

Welcome to Android Central! First, make sure you have the most up-to-date version of YouTube. It might not prompt you if you've never updated it. Go to Google Play and search for YouTube, then see if there's an Update button.

Next, when you're viewing a video, tap the screen once to get the menu button to display, then tap the menu button (the 3 vertical dots), and see if you can select the resolution.
