Note Pro 12.2 issue with OTG connection of external 500GB Samsung T1 SSD

Hi Everyone,

Well have had my new SM-P905 12.2 Tab for 2 days and have just attempted to connect my T1 SSD with the new OTG ( purchased from Amazon)

It some times connects but never lets me access the drive , most times doesn't connect at all. The drive is formatted in exFat , works perfectly on a PC just wanted to work on my tab..
Any ideas on a fix? I have tried 3 different apps all with the same results.

Any assistance would be really appreciated

I've been using this cable for about a year with my tablet to power my Western Digital 500gb external drive. Tablet won't recognize the drive without it. Not enough power to run the drive. Great value. One end plugs into tablet, one is for external power (I use a 6ft Belkin USB extension cable) and the last is for your external drive. If I use a card reader or small jump drive I don't need to have external power.

Been using a belkin otg cable with a seagate 1TB portable HD - ex-fat format. No probs. Found ES Explorer very good at picking up attached usb drives, and network drives using the tablet's wifi.

This OTG cable on eBay for less than $1

Just gotta find something else to do for 2 or 3 months ;-)
