note8 went into reboot cycle last night

So last night i updated apps, which i check pretty much on a daily basis. I had an update of the samsung messages, and after i finished i hit restart like i usually do. The phone restarted and then shut off. When i started it again it started booting up and shutting down. I tried to wipe the cache but when the blue screen came up it went into the rebooting cycle again. Finally i held the power, volume down and bixby button to bring up the custom rom screen, and then hit cancel. The phone restarted and has been fine since.

I got oreo last week, and noticed sometimes hitting restart would only turn the phone off.

Just wondering if anyone else had the same issue. Had me in panic mode for about half an hour lol
