Is there a way in my Note9 settings I can tell if a network I'm connected to is 5ghz or 2ghz?

Go to Settings>Wi-fi and tap the network that you're currently connected to. Does it specify in the window that pops up?

Nothing next to network name. If you click on connected network it tells you network speed but not the band you are on. My system is dual band with the same name for both. I can tell by the speed but it would be nice to see the actual ghz so I know where in the house phone switches from 5ghz to 2.4 ghz. I've noticed it won't go back to 5 on its own once connected to 2.4. I have to remember to turn wifi off then on again when in 5 ghz range or phone is happy on slower band.

Ahh same name , at work I've name them ***2.4and ***5

Ya I could rename them but for reasons I won't discuss here I prefer to keep the name as is. With gigabyte speed I find most downloads don't speed up much because the server at the other end is a bottleneck.
